Jean Nduwimana


Jean has 22 years of public health experience in the management, design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of health programs. He has held positions of Director or Coordinator of several health programs at the national level in Burundi, both at the level of the Ministry of Health and at academic institutions. These occupations enabled him to develop technical and managerial capacities useful and adequate for building the capacities of the various organizations (public or civil society organisations) and of the stakeholders involved health programs. For the past 10 years, as a Consultant, he has made his expertise available to several providers of technical assistance (Global Fund, UNAIDS, UNICEF, USAID / PEPFAR, GMS and LMG of MSH, Expertise France, Chemonics, zeGOgroup, etc) and 14 countries in West and Central Africa, as well as Haiti. He has provided technical assistance particularly for the preparation, negotiation, and implementation of Global Fund grants for Principal Recipients as well as capacity building of CCMs in their reform, governance, their orientation and oversight.
