Esther is a Medical Doctor specialized in International Public Health and Tropical Diseases, with extensive experience on Malaria control and elimination, HIV, TB, MNCH, EPI and HSS. Monitoring and evaluation, operational research, clinical trial design, programme management and implementation. Over twenty two years working in developing, transitional and fragile states both, in Asia and Africa. She has a solid knowledge of programme design, strategic planning, implementation, monitoring & evaluation, and operational research studies. She has supported the preparation of multiple malaria CNs including RAI and RAI2E. Esther has worked for national and international organizations including governments, UN agencies (WHO, UNDP PR, UNICEF), UNITAID, EU, the Global Fund, GAVI, France Expertise (5% Initiative) and INGOs (Save the Children PR) at international, national and sub-national levels.Esther has the ability to communicate in a credible and effective way, sound competencies in intercultural negotiation, demonstrated leadership and diplomatic skills and a results-oriented attitude towards work, able to solve complex issues with minimum guidance and supervision, and to adapt policy and guidance to the country reality and context and take the lead in solving complex issues. She is fluent in Spanish, English and French.
